At the church I used to go to there was always a Good Friday service and so I found out from that...
There need to be more easter pictures that--instead of just having eatser bunnies (even though I love bunnies)--are for the true Easter. I'm glad someone appretiates it.

I guess a lot of people don't do them because, a first, the high population of artists here on dA are Athiest (which I find rather sad since we're the minority though Christianity is the highest religion in real life) but mainly now-a-days people get offended over this stuff so easily and start flaming you because you have different outlooks and beliefs. Heck, I saw a flame of an Easter picture just today. It's horrible. I wish people wouldn't be afraid and just draw what they wish and express themselves.
I always like to do a mixture of both the happy bunnies and the true meaning. Here's my picture from last year [link] and I'm definitely not ashamed. I'm glad other people aren't either

I think a lot of Christian artists are afraid to get an account on here because there are some kinda..innapropriate things on here. But seriously, EVERY website has that (even if the owners of the websites try not to have that, as I've discovered). What makes deviantART any different?
That's really sad... A lot of my watchers aren't Christians but I'm quite happy because none of them have flamed me. I love them greatly for that x3
I like drawing happy bunnies and things. I was going to do a "He is Risen" picture and some of my characters dressed as Easter bunnies. xD But I'm lazy and haven't gotten around to it...

Seriously, I don't think anywhere is safe from that kind of stuff. It's not all that hard to avoid it though. I guess I can see their reasons for not wanting to though.
Indeed, same here, a lot of them comment on the stuff anyway, they don't care. <83 I wish there were more people like that.

Yeah...I just avoid the places on here where I have to shield my eyes. Actually, one of the reasons why I got my subscription here was because of how...bad the ads were getting. I was tired of shielding my eyes just because of ads. And my mom agreed that was a good reason to get one so let me get my subbie xD
There need to be more people like that in the world; it would make it nicer for everyone...
XDD Okay. I started work on my late Easter pictures last night but I had to go to bed before I got them done. I'll work on finishing 'em today.

Yeah, agreed! I like my subby for a similar reason being that some of my friends on here do draw... umm... well... they're into the IZ romance kinda thing I'll say that much so I just look at the thumbnails in my deviation box and if it's nasty I just delete it so I don't have to be mentally scarred by seeing the full view if I clicked it XDD
